11yr. old 17.2+Hand Holsteiner TB gelding
I bred and raised this truely awesome gelding. (for more photos, go to My Horses page click here) He was not fully mature until 9 years old though I started him under saddle at a Bryan Neubert colt-starting when he was 3 1/2. I spent 4 years going to horsemanship clinics. He is a proven hunt horse and has hunted both in the field and as Field Master with me. My son rides him as whipper-in now but he is getting married in a few months.
He has never been shod so has healthy feet. He is so sweet and trusting. Healthwise, he had a roaring problem common to large horses. But when he was 5 years old, I had laser surgery performed on him to reduce the problem. It was very non-invasive however, it is a consideration because he must be fed from ground level (as all horses should be). He is fairly bold and can jump but I have never jumped him over 3'6"
He has Certificate of Pedigree papers from the American Holsteiner Assoc. His breeding is Corde la Breyere line and Affirmed on the TB side. I am asking $9500 for him but will particularly consider offers from a wholistic horse person.

This horse is trained and ready to go. He is sweet and could go to a rider who wants a big safe horse. He is well-trained and scored in the 70's in his first dressage test. He has beautiful feet with no soundness issues. Owner has health issues that require she sell. he would make a good man's or lady's hunt horse. He's even trained to pull a wagon. I raised this fellow and I have fox hunted him over the years. My son has also ridden him as a whipper-in. (see photo below) He's a special guy and needs a special person. He's a good jumper and has that Holsteiner movement. Pure-bred Holsteiner out of Corde la Breyere mare and Landgraf stallion. Hunts in a snaffle. Out of work since last fall. Soon to be re-enlisted in the hunt field! Great feet! Barefoot since 2000. I have too many horses sitting on the sidelines because I can only ride a few. I am offering him now to a preferred natural barefoot home at only $6500

Cute and smart with lots of go. This fella is doing very well with his natural horsemanship training. He likes people and is very trusting. I would like for him to go to someone who understands about TBs and would give him a natural lifestyle including barefeet.
