These are the kind words from some of my fans....
"Dr. (chiropactic vet) was very pleased with Vala on her adjustmenent last week - there were only a couple really minor things and no pelvic adjustment at all for the first time in two years! She said that she thinks the improvement is due to your trimming and she said to say, "Bravo!"~ Maria B.
"Sandy introduced me to barefoot 7 years ago and I am forever grateful! Sandy has spent numerous hours studying and practicing the ART of barefoot trimming (and it IS an art!) She knows the hoof both inside and out and how proper trimming of the hoof affects the health and comfort of the entire horse. Sandy is not only knowledgable but willing to take the time to explain what she does and why, so that the owner is well informed. Not only is she a great trimmer but a geat teacher! She is honest, hard-working and knowledgable about her craft. I think she is an asset to barefoot and she also lives what she teaches." ~ Lynn K.
Sandy is extremely passionate about providing proper hoof care for horses. No horse can go without its feet! Years of training and experience make Sandy one of the best hoof trimmers I have ever met. She also emphasizes natural horse care and training, which includes providing substantial turnout, a horse friendly environment, proper diet and exercise to maximize the mental and physical health of your equine partner. ~ Carol L.
My Belgium Paint cross foundered twice, and was still limping 8 months after the 2nd founder before I found Sandy, my new hoofcare specialist. Sandy has trimmed him four times and he is getting better and better. The other day this 20-year-old gelding decided he wanted to join his pasture buddies and jumped a 4.5 foot fence! He used to always stumble, and he rarely stumbles now. Sandy's knowledge of horse anatomy and physiology is thorough, and she has really helped all my horses. I now understand the problems with shoes, and will never use shoes again. I would highly recommend that young farriers learn from her, and decide to become natural hoofcare specialists! ~ Patti B.
"Without Sandy teaching me how to trim my own horse, I would not have a horse to ride. From my vet to many different farriers, I had been told to get rid of my horse due to his hoof problems. With Sandy's help, I have my horse back! And I even get to foxhunt him!! ~Betsy R.
"I have seen a tremendous improvement in the shape and quality of hoof on one of our horses, using the barefoot trim. This horse came to us with chronic abscesses. Since Sandra has been trimming her, she has not had a single abscess or lameness issue, and we couldn't keep her sound before." Elizabeth M.
Hi Sandra I want to tell you, I have had a real education from reading your information. I was given your information from a wonderful lady named Marrianne (farrier) here in FL. I know I will have to go back and re- read ... I have been breeding and raising TWH (flat-shod), for many years. I have never approved of the built-up horses. That was then this is now.. I just have 7 horses and have cut my stallions to live out their lives... peacefully. I did not realize all that I did not know (and I do alot of research). I wish I could do my own horses. I will keep reading... and Thank-You for your articles! Cordially, Pam
Sandy does a super job presenting important and useful information and skills in her hoof care training programs. The anatomy/dissected hoof examples were particularly helpful in the understanding of hoof function and appropriate trimming. Sandy's teaching style is very effective and certainly exhibits her high level of skill and expertise in the area of barefoot trimming. Lauren K.
Sandy, your site is phenomenal!!!
A friend, who just got one of your horses, in MN, sent the link to me. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your knowledge!
The material is clear and concise. The photo's are SO helpful! I wonder if you ever considered doing a seminar at Equine Affaire? I am going to put a request for you at the next EA in MA, for 2011. I hope you would accept.
Your art work is gorgeous, btw! Maybe some day I can get you to do one of my animals. -)

Rarely do I find someone who I agree with 100% but from consuming your articles in THH and reading your website I realized that you have really got it together! I love your healthy foot trim, illustrations, philosophy and your quest for solutions. I'm out here in a third world country preaching barefoot-short toe-low heels to the paniolos who have now got a price on my head and am working miracles on hopelessly lame horses when the vets give up. I have a fiercely loyal clientele/support group and wish we were all rich and could bring YOU over for a clinic to help us all!
I am sending my whole client list to your website to consume the information and get a grip on the intensely physical demands upon our bodies and the refinement of our skills which NEED to be catered to because I'm too old to be working in the hot sun. I'm going to let you say it to them for me and next I'm going to change my price index!
I'd like to send you some photos of the feral Waipio ponies' hooves that weren't in my THH article and I'd like to ask for your expertise on how I'm treating the hooves of DSLD/ESPA horses.

Thank you so much for your immediate reply : ) It all makes sense to me now and I happily will take your advice and trim him as soon as possible and do the rehab. I would like to thank you for your awesome website, it is nice to see someone who actually explains into details and shows such great pictures so that it makes sense to the “ordinary” horseperson!
If any of those pictures I have sent could be used as “bad examples”, please feel free to use them : ()
Thank you again,
Yours Sincerely,
Regula
I came to your website after reading your article in The Horses Hoof. I have just started subscribing to the newsletter and I thought your article was excellent. I felt compelled to congradulate you on your article and website as you have so much quality information.
I am in my first year of the now 2 yr SHP course in New Zealand I try to read as much information as time and my struggling brain can handle. I got heaps from your website and felt encouraged as I often feel discouraged as I am surrounded by conventional people with crippled sick horses but the poor bloody animals keep performing and winning!! So thank you !!
Kind regards,
Sarah V.
